Carabello Coffee started in a garage in the fall of 2009 with a hot air popcorn popper and a few pounds of green coffee beans. From there Emily and Justin Carabello have grown their home business into a way to help fund non-profits and charity work. Their vision is to be able to give away profits to help fund local schools, churches, and organizations through coffee fund raisers. Currently hailing from Newport, KY but roasting in Newtown, OH this coffee is as fresh as it gets!
Carabello Coffee attempts to offer the very best in quality through fair trade, organic, and even farm gate coffees. What is farm gate? It is a way for coffee roasters to buy straight from the farmers at a price that is a minimum of %100 higher than even fair trade. As they’ve researched-sometimes fair trade isn’t really that fair! Farm gate allows real faces to be attached to this product. Real people really grow and process this coffee, not a machine!
Carabello Coffee is roasted and bagged just days before it reaches the market, and you’ll be able to tell the difference fresh makes! It’s truly the difference between fresh baked bread and stale store bought. Want to know more about them and what they are up to?
