Maddux Farms is a ninth generation produce farm, located in Pierce Township/Cherry Grove. Our farm is 65 plus acres which allows us to rotate the fields under crop production each year and let the soil rest. Our main focus crops are sweet corn and tomatoes. All our tomato plants are staked; which produces a higher quality, more flavorful fruit. We also grow peppers, cucumbers, green beans, potatoes, squash, and zucchini; as well as fresh cut and dried flowers. We grow all our vegetable and flower plants from seed in our greenhouses, which allows us to control quality and have plants ready to be set in our fields as soon as the last spring frost has passed.
We have been told by many of our life-long customers that the tomatoes from Southwest Ohio are the tastiest there are. Maddux Farms has shipped tomatoes as far away as Washington State, Florida, South Carolina and even Great Britain.
Throughout the past 100 years our grandparents and great grandparents have been associated with most of the farmers markets in Cincinnati’s past ranging from the Court Street Market, 12th Street Market, Pearl Street Market, Ohio Valley Fruit and Vegetable Growers and the Farmers Produce Market. We are proud to be members of the Anderson Farmers Market and look forward to providing you with fresh/local produce for your plate and lovely fresh flowers for your table.
We are proud to be a true “American Family Farm”.
